Mr. Quincy Holland was born at Camp LeJune, North Carolina and is part of a multi generational military family. Being the oldest of two sets of twins has put Quincy in a position of leadership from a very young age. Growing up in a naval family, he was blessed to see many areas of the country. While never being in any area to really establish real roots, once he and his twin brother, Quintin, entered high school his father decided that they would settle in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Quincy graduated from Richard King High School in Corpus Christi, Texas in 1998. He enlisted into the United States Air Force as a Security Forces Member in 2000. As a Security Forces member, he would receive certifications in Antiterrorism, Law Enforcement and Area Security. After six years of active duty, Quincy moved to San Antonio, Texas. While in San Antonio, he worked in the Air National Guard as well as trying different artistic pursuits. One of these was acting, landing a principal extra role in the hit NBC series "Friday Night Lights" as well as a minor role in the indie film "After the Day".

In 2007, Quincy moved to the Northern Cheyenne Reservation to attend Chief Dull Knife College in Lame Deer, Montana. In 2009, he would enlist into the United States Army as a Motor Transport Operator and would deploy to Iraq, Afghanistan & Liberia. While in the Army, he received certifications in Class Facilitator and Master Resiliency. He also graduated from NCO Advanced Leadership Academy.

Upon another honorable discharge, Quincy entered the political world by becoming a Legislative Assistant to Texas Representative Richard Raymond from Laredo. During this time; he attended Southwestern University Georgetown, Texas to become a teacher. In 2019, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Education.

Currently Quincy is the lead 8th grade United States History teacher at a Title 1 middle school in Austin, Texas. He is also a part of the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports committee, House Leadership team, Campus Leadership team, District Academic Advisory Council and a certified AVID committee member. In addition to the many leadership positions he holds on campus, he is also a mentor to new teachers on campus; and facilitates professional development to the campus staff on the implementation of student leadership to promote student-led learning and engagement.

Quincy has received the District Teacher of the Year Award but his proudest achievement is being the father to two daughters Briana Holland and Greyson Holland.

Mr. Holland has been with Anmwe Anime LLC since shortly after its inception in 2021 and provides us with support for the internships we offer for College students and transitioning service members via our Department of Defense Skillbridge program.
